The areas included in the Central Almaguin Planning Board are:
- Unorganized Townships of Lount, Laurier, Paxton and Ballantyne (West of Algonquin Park)
- The Organized Township of Strong, Township of Joly, Township of Machar, Village of Sundridge, Village of South River and The Municipality of Magnetawan.
